How to apply
Eligibility
To get a student NOL card, you should be 5 to 23 years old. You should have uae visa and an Emirates ID. You should have an enrolment letter from your school/college/university.

Rta website
Step 1
Navigate to rta website and then “Apply for a Personal Nol Card”
Step 2
Log in using your UAE Pass/RTA credentials
Step 3
You need to select the card category as a student and then type.
Step 4
Fill out your personal details and then upload the necessary documents like Emirates ID, passport-size photo, and student status letter issued by your educational institution.
Step 5
Submit the form and wait for notification of reference number via SMS.
Note: process may take 4–5 days

Students’ NOL card renewal
The student NOL card offers a 50% fare discount, and you need to renew it annually. It can be renewed online and also at metro stations. You need to carry the necessary documents like an Emirates ID, a personal student Nol Card, and a letter from your university/college. Make sure to get a new one unless damaged. After a 4 to 5-day process, you can get your renewal card. After renewal, you can continue enjoying discount fares.
Renewal Process
Online
1- Open the NOL pay app and tap on the option “Apply or renew Personal NOL Card”
2- Scan your personal NOL card using your NFC mobile
3- Upload your necessary documents, like your Emirates ID and a passport-sized picture
4- Pay a renewal fee by card.
5- The card can be scanned only on NFC mobiles . If you don’t have an NFC mobile, you can use your desktop
Metro/Bus Station
1- Visit the metro station and go to the counters
2- Ask them for a card renewal
3- Submit the required documents like UAE ID and a passport-size picture, and pay a renewal fee which is almost AED 70.
4- Your card will be activated.

Student NOL card price
The purchasing price of a student’s NOL card is AED 70. AED 50 is the price of the card ,and AED 20 is the balance. You renew your card per year for AED 50.
